Water in the Desert

 There is water in the Desert !!

 Winter snowfall in the mountains melts and rushes down the washes to repenish the native flora. This has been a very dry year, but I found water in some of my favorite spots.

When the temps rise painting water seems cooling.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
