Water is running in the washes

Starting the New Year with Some Studio work

  Since the New Year here began with some cold, cloudy and rainy weather,  I started a studio piece. It is painted on a 24" x 30" stretched canvas. My reference is a photograph I took at Empire Ranch in December. Here are some progress photos. Not sure it is finished yet, I always let a painting sit a few weeks before I decide.

Looking Back

  When I look back on 2021,  I realize many of my paintings went to new homes ! The sale of "Patagonia Lake" was a Christmas gift for some lucky lady in Tucson. The Sale of "Rincon Morning"  was a gift for a new couples home. "Pichaco in Bloom" sold and now resides in Colorado "Sonoran Sunset" sold  and has a home in Tucson "Kings Canyon Version 4" was a commision for a Tucson home. "Teds Place"  sold at Toscana Gallery  and traveled to a California Collector. This study was a gift for my daughter and husband. "Fruit of the Foothills" sold  at the RBC Wealth Management online promotion. "Cat Mountain" "Looking West"  "Pink Wall" sold and have a home in Long Beach, CA.
