Washes in Arizona

I do love to paint in the dry washes in Arizona. This view is from the  main wash at Catalina State Park.  Not even a trickle of water this year, but apparently enough to  send out spring leaves on the trees.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
