View from the Overflow Parking Lot at Sabino Canyon Recreation Area

 The first time I pulled into the Overflow Lot at Sabino Canyon I knew I had to come back and paint Thimble Peak towering over me.  This painting took two sessions to complete.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
