Painting with SPAP

I always enjoy painting with Sonoran Plein Air Painters !!
They are a vibrant group and our discussions after painting are always informative.
We had a busy weekend- Friday afternoon at Christopher Columbus Park and Saturday afternoon at Kings Canyon Trail head.  Two very different palettes.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
