Summer reflections

Image
Thinking back on last summer, one of my favorite times was an early morning at the beach on a calm day. The only sound was the gentle lapping of the waves and the occasional  flutter of leaves in the  breeze. The sun was just starting to light up the beach and the lake turned beautiful shades of blue and green. I stood on the bluff and watched a small boat in the distance.
