Paint Arizona Day 2024


I had the privilege of acting as Ambassador for Paint Arizona Days.
 My post was Sabino Canyon Recreation Area in Tucson. 
We had 8 painters participate at our site.
 The hikers on the trail enjoyed watching and chatting with all of the artists.
I had time to paint a couple of quick studies, though I spent most of my time engaging with the park visitors.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
