Painting at La Mariposa

 Sonoran Plein Air Painters spent the Wednesdays in the month of  October painting at La Mariposa.  The Event Center has a natural pond and views of the Rincon and Catalina Mountains. We have had a large turnout of artists each week.  After each session we gather together and discuss our paintings.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
