I spent the first half of July painting in the fields by my home. 
The ponds and refreshing greens made for a very different palatte than the one I used in Arizona.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
