Shipped to Colorado

 Another painting found a new home in Colorado.

This studio piece was painted two springs ago from plein air studies made at Pichaco Peak, Arizona. That year the poppy bloom was magnificent. This year due to drought and lack of winter rains blooms were very sparse.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
