San Xavier del Bac Mission

 The Sonoran Plein Air Painters met at San Xavier del Bac Mission outside of Tucson, Arizona.

 The mission is located within the Tohono O'odaham Nation. It is a National Historic landmark and was founded as a Catholic mission by Fater Eusebio Kino in 1692.  It is still an active Catholic church.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
