When It hits 100, I head to my air conditioned studio!!

On hot days I work in my studio. I use my Plein Air studies as inspiration to paint larger pieces.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
