As I continue to paint from my mailbox in the early morning, I not only get the cool air but conversation at a distance with my neighbors on their morning walks.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
