What I did last summer- Part 2

I painted several times at one of my favorite places on our family farm. The spot is an old irrigation pond.  When it was first dug many, many years ago the water was clear. On  hot summer days we used to take our rafts and join the neighborhood kids for a "pool party". Now the water is dark and moody and a habitat for birds, bugs and butterflies.
