Michigan Summer

This summer I am spending some time in Michigan at the family farm. My grandchildren are here, and of course that is a huge reason I love being here.  I paint every chance I get.


One quiet morning I went to the beach of lake Michigan near my home. 
 It was just me, the lake and the perch fisherman.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
