During the busy summer, I was able to snatch short periods of time to paint
 and just out my backyard I found a variety of subjects for quick studies.

Summer in South Haven, Michigan

 I summer in a small lake town on the west side of Michigan.   The colors are different. The atmosphere is often heavy with humidity.  And this year the smoke from the Canadian wildfires have changed the color of the sky.
